• Plan credits

  Included with your plan and refreshed each billing period, along with your book and study set allowance. Unused plan credits do not roll over: the balance resets to your allowance, and nothing carries past the end of your plan. Everything you already created stays yours. Spent first, on books and study sets, up to your plan’s book and study set numbers. Never spent on Scenario Lab or Diagram Lab. They stop working when a free 14-day trial ends, but extra credits keep working.

• Extra credits

  Bought as credit packs and never expire, even after your plan ends or your free 14 days are over. Top up any time from the Plans page. Scenario Lab, Diagram Lab and Check My Work top-ups spend only extra credits. Books and study sets use extra credits when your plan credits run out or you reach your plan’s book or study set number, and there is no limit on how many extra credits can add.

You can cancel at any time from Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. You keep your plan and its credits until then, and you are not charged again.

Once you hit your plan’s per-cycle limit, you can spend 1 extra credit to unlock another full block equal to your plan’s own allowance, as many times as you have extra credits for. Otherwise, your checks refresh at your next billing cycle.

Yes. We automatically add 1 plan credit for every continuous 30-day study streak, and 1 plan credit when you score 70% or higher on an exam (up to once per billing period). You get an in-app notification each time a reward credit is added.

Only Premium has a fixed per-cycle study-set number (7) for its plan credits. On Free, Quick and Standard, study sets are limited only by your remaining credits, each study set costing 1 credit, the same as a book. Extra credits can pay for more books and study sets beyond your plan’s numbers, with no limit.

Studying a set that someone shared in your group is free for every member. Sharing a set costs nothing either.

Plan credits are used first, then extra credits. When you reach your plan’s book or study set number, or your plan credits run out, extra credits pay for the next one. Scenario Lab, Diagram Lab and Check My Work top-ups use extra credits only.

Your 2 free starter credits are plan credits, so they stop being usable when the free 14 days end, and everything you made stays yours to study. Extra credits never expire and still work after the free period, with no plan, for books, study sets, Scenario Lab and Diagram Lab.

Yes, on every plan. Scenario Lab and Diagram Lab are not included in any plan tier: they always require purchasing extra credits to use at all, regardless of plan level.
